Tentsmuir is notable for the many concrete blocks known as 'Dragon's Teeth' distributed along the shoreline, which acted as coastal defence against landing craft during World War II.
Tentsmuir is a magical combination of forest trails that dip and weave between tall trees and open sand dunes. There’s a variety of wildlife, from coastal grassland dotted with wildflowers in spring and summer to great flocks of sea birds that come to feed on shellfish.
